Field engineers at Baker Hughes deliver front-line technical services and solutions across our drilling, evaluation, completion and production technologies. These are hands-on roles, often outdoors and in demanding or harsh conditions such as offshore on an oil rig or onshore in the desert.

(Jakarta Raya - Jakarta,ID-JK)

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Assist Geomarket Inventory Coordinators (GIC) with API's, inventory audits or special projects as required. Work with local management and finance to identify SLOB and act as a catalyst to process the necessary paperwork for approval.
  • Provide feedback on disposition of excess inventory. Engage plants to identify specific inventory reduction opportunities.
  • Provide support for inventory purchase and SAP transactions related to inventory. Handle special projects as assigned.
  • Assist/visit Districts in multiple regions identified as requiring special focus as determined by management.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. 5+ years' experience working in an operations / oil related environment with a good understanding of associated product lines. Experience in SAP and T2K.
  • Desired / Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Extensive Inventory Management & Planning experience
  • Ability to manage a team or supervise
  • SAP competency.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Under general supervision, may tear down, relocate and set up modular and or conventional furniture and equipment.
  • Protects the furniture and work site from damage during installation / relocation.
  • Performs preventive maintenance as well as general maintenance on furniture and equipment.
  • Assists with inventory control through completion of standard procedures such as parts requests, repair schedules, shipment delivery, and receipt logs.
  • May perform minimum plumbing, electrical, and or mechanical maintenance on building and fixtures. Uses a wide variety of hand and power tools.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 4+ years experience
  • Desired / Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Ability to repair and maintain an administrative facility. Light analytical skills.
Quality Specialist III (QS)

Requirements :
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. 3+ years quality experience directly supporting manufacturing or engineering.
  • Understanding of processes, industry standards and technologies as they relate to division's product lines.
  • Understanding of ISO quality systems. Good analytical skills. Good verbal and writing skills. Assures that all products and processes achieve the desired quality, safety, efficiency and reliability levels. Provides support to division's manufacturing and/or operation groups by assisting with the quality program design. Provide system and product audit support. Works closely with QA team and internal customers to maintain ISO compliance standards. Performs follow up work on corrective actions required, including documentation of corrective procedures. Handles special projects, as assigned.

  • Warehouseperson III
At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for supervising and instructing Junior Field Engineers on well site work and activities, as well as providing advice and direction to external customers and third-party well site colleagues. This position is also responsible for maintaining frequent internal and external customer contacts in order to maintain and grow the company’s status as the recognized leader within the oil service industry.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Receives inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations.
  • Stocks received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production.
  • Picks materials, components and end products and deliver them to Production or shipping.
  • Performs cycle counts.
  • Prepares component kits for production, fills orders and supplier subcontract parts.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 3+ years related experience.
Desired /Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Possess basic written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic math and basic PC skills.
  • The work environment is very fast paced and noisy. It is one of constant movement while performing the duties of this job.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The employee must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight.
